People who want to know more about senior co-housing and ElderGrace may visit, tour the models, share a meal with us and even stay in our Common House guest room by calling 505-473-1059 or emailing pam@dtbprojects.com or willowm7@gmail.com. ElderGrace model units are open and staffed every Saturday from 11 to 4 and Sunday 12 to 4pm.

Members of ElderGrace and the developer, the Housing Trust, offer occasional classes such as Renewable Energy Options, Tax Credits for Homebuyers and Financial Literacy. This spring we will turn our attention to Edible Landscaping and Vegetable Gardening; call to find out what we’re doing now.

The ElderGrace community is ACTIVE. We have regularly scheduled meetings and enjoy weekly meals together. The three hour bi-monthly meetings go by in a blink of an eye. In addition, as we set up our Common House and share in community, we participate in a number of “as needed” committees. But we have regular community work too and those jobs are organized by our jobs committee.

FUN AND LAUGHTER is a vital part of our community – from email jokes that poke fun at aging, to inviting others to a film, political or cultural event, to hiking the Dale Ball system or snow shoeing the Windsor Trail – we stay active and involved.

Come, see for yourself.
